Mastraman is an experimental chamber opera by Agnes Kofoed Christianson in collaboration with choreographer Carolina Eguiguren, exploring poems by Egyptian surrealist writers George Henein and Swedish Gunnar Ekelöf, in an opera setting exploring object and movements as performative and musical expression. Celebrating Palestinian resistance through the theme of spoons referring to Palestinian actor and freedom fighter Zakaria Zubeidi, who 2021, escaped high-security Israeli Gilboa prison by digging a tunnel with spoons, together with six other Palestinian prisoners.

Premiered at 3:e Våningen in Gothenburg by opera and classical students at Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg.
