Embardamium is a choir piece Agnes Kofoed Christianson composed to an conceptualized for the poet Jila Mossaed´s poem Mitt språk var trädet. Premiered by Gothia Vokalensemble at Nääs Choir Festival 2023.

About loosing or never having had a language, the poem surrounds the sentence “My mother´s language was the tree”, interpreted into an experimental choir composition for sounding letters, regaining dramaturgy and physical fuck-you fingers to what that is holding back one´s language.
